A friendly local family run company, The Storage Works offers a wide range of internal self storage units, external container storage, car parking, office space & trade counters / shops in 3 locations across the North West (Wigan, Great Harwood & Preston). We want to serve you to the best of our ability in order that our customers become our fans, spread the word and use us time and time again.
Our transparent prices and flexible hiring arrangements take the stress out of having to store your goods. Our aim is to provide good value and quality storage space when you need it.
Our office space, trade counters or shops provide your business with a convenient, comfortable, professional working environment where you can easily scale up or down.

How Storing With Us Works.
We can help you to determine how much space to need, just use our size guide but if you are still unsure pop in to see us and we will show you some units to help you visualize how your goods will fit. We have storage units/pods ranging from 16 to 300 square feet. They are an approximate height of around 8ft (2.4m), some units are also fitted with their own lighting. Once you have padlocked your storage unit nobody else has access to your goods.
There are no extra or hidden charges, we offer a basic price per week and that is all you pay, you can choose to pay calendar monthly if you prefer. Cancellation periods depend on whether you have taken advantage of the reduced rates for a longer stay, they vary from 1 to 4 weeks. To store with us, you will need to provide two forms of ID, one being either a drivers license or passport and the other being a utility bill or bank statement.

Storage Works Office Solutions
Firstly you need to decide the size of office you require. To help you, we specify our offices by the amount of people required to work in them, 1-2 people, 3-4 people etc. The price you pay includes all utilities and internet. A state of the art access control entry and exit system keeps you safe while you work and can provide reporting if required. All offices are alarmed as standard so there is no need to worry about this either.
